I will Start off by saying I'm very new to the Saltwater world and there are a lot of great people out there. This is probably the 2nd most expensive hobby I have come across (1st being Sandrails and dunning) that being said start up in this hobby is no secrets its not cheap and we are all trying to find the best way to go about cutting cost whether its DIY, Group Buys, or used stuff. But I am a product of another great thing with this hobby The PIF (Pay It Forward) I have had my tank going for a bit but was empty I had one or two fish and my snails but that's it the thought of going out and dropping a few hundred more for corals is just out of the question till on one of my local forums a guy had posted that he was looking to PIF bc someone had done it for him. A bit hesitant to ask for anything Free (not normally my style) I asked he said yes... well today I got to go pick up this Zoa (Gorilla Nipple) and a GPS but I got to meet someone new in this hobby had a chance to look over his setup and learn as much as possible with out having the Added pressure to Buy something. I now cant wait for them to grow out and help some one new out there to get their start.
