Has anyone experienced this before. All he can do is spin in small circles

Sorry, I look for unanswered disease messages multiple times a day and I just now saw yours from Friday!

The PBT is a bit thin, but I've seen worse. Is it eating o.k.? Can you offer it more food?
Does it only swim like this in front of the cleaner shrimp, or is that just a coincidence?
I can see some discoloration on its right side, how long has it had that?
Have you treated it for anything yet?

Hi Jay,
Thanks for looking into this. To sum up what got him in this situation.
Fish arrived via overnight shipping and looked great. A few days later treatment in QT started.
1. 4 days of general cure ( praxi/metro)
2. A day off to clear tank of meds (water change)
3. 24 days of copper
4. Feed metro soaked food mid copper treatment
5. Last 4 days of copper treatment add praxi.

He was eating well in treatment. Nori at first and frozen for the last few days.
Before he was added to my tank I did a 90 minute drip acclimation for the change in SG..
He has been spinning like this from the time he was added to the display. If he gets in front of a mp40 he will ride the current and still keep spinning. Eventually he finds a low flow spot and spends most of his time there.

It also appears he may be blind. Lots of eye movement but you can put a pair of tongs next to him and he doesn't notice them. His breathing is also fine.
I thought of a 3-4 minute fresh water dip just to try and snap him out of it.

Praxi not praxi sorry. The only good news is he is the only tang in the tank so he is not getting beat up. I have been in the hobby for over 25 years and have never seen this. My best guess is it's neurological.

That is where I ended up as well - some neurological problem. Not much is known about these. Some issues are caused by physical damage. In other cases, viral or myxosporidians are suspected. Unfortunately there is no treatment possible for that sort of issue….sorry I can’t suggest a treatment to try.

I appreciate your response, I was hoping for a miracle but Had a feeling it was going to end up this way
