Pbt white on inside mouth

Hey guys I’ve had by powder blue tang for about a month or two ago and I’ve been treating him copper in a 30 gallon because of ich unfortunately and I recently noticed that he has a whiteish inside to his mouth I’m pretty new to the hobby so I’m not sure what’s up with him I’m on day 6 of quarantine. Not sure how long he had the white mouth for tho. Anybody know if it’s anything bad or serious?

Looks to me like you’re referring to their teeth. Similar to this? (Not my photo)

If you are talking about something white inside the mouth, I can’t really see it in the photo, but two common causes of that is a fish recently caught in a net or a fish that runs into something in the tank - both can pull away the skin leaving a white area. If the fish is still eating I wouldn’t worry, it looks good in other respects.
