What does every one use for pc supps? Im going to be getting new bulbs an was wondering what the best color pc buls are.

i run a combination of 2 96w 03 actinic (460nm) and 1 96w actinic blue (420nm) PCs.

SunPaq dual actinics will give you some pop.

Ive got 24watt straight pin. i cannot find the double actinic in that style.

I don't know if they make them or not in that wattage. Coralife standard pc actinics are good too.

Ive got act03 in there right now and its to purple. I was hoping to find them in the in the 420nm. Do they make a converter for srtaight to 4 pin. I can find them for 4 pin to straight.

If you can't find the 420s, you might look into what it would take to change out the endaps to square pins.

Looks like im going to be replacing end caps. And then i can only find the dual in 40watts, do you think it would be a problem running 40 watt bulbs with the same ballast? It will fire a 65watt that i tested. But i dont want to start a fire or burn out the ballast. Thanks

Premium Aquatics sells 27 watt dual actinic square pins. This bulb is 10.5 inches.

I'm not an electrician so I don't know if the slight difference in wattage will make a difference. Check out the specs on your ballast and make sure it is safe.
