PC by reef tank?

I have a high end gaming pc and wanted to put it on my desk, however my tank is right next to it. My concern is humid air and possible splashes of water damaging or rusting the components. Does anybody have experience with a computer next to their tank?

I run my computer about a foot away from my office tank. No problems at all so far. I did install a positive input ventilation unit in the room though.

Saltwater next to electronics not a good idea. There will always be the chance of splashes. You might get away with it. If the computer was ruined, would you care very much?
