what are the best pc bulbs? im currently using 2 22" 65W 10,000°K and 2 22" 65W 420nm,Hamilton Technology bulbs

I realize that this doesn't answer you question but if you are looking at a bulb replacement I would consider upgrading to a T5 fixture. Even a cheap T5 fixture will yield better results than your PCs and give you bulb options you will be much happier with.

try coralife. hamilton is ok ish.....avoid odyssea....
theyre getting hard to find now.

i was wondering if i could retrofit in 4 t5 bulbs into this fixture.. just add some t5 clips..

you have to change the ballasts too

maybe... most t5 ballast i have seen can be wired for pc....

Yes I'd go new ballast. Check the specs on a standard reef t5 vho retrofit and get em off amazon yea.

The ballast that I posted has a programmed start and is designed for T5 use.
