I have been feeding PE mysis s part of my food regiment lately because the nutritional facts being way better compared to SFB mysis. The only thing that I notice about PE is that when I thaw it out the water is very cloudy compared to SFB's mysis, which thaws out completely clear. Will the cloudy thaw water spike my parameters?

you can strain the slurry left over if you have phosphate issues, if not i just throw it all in. It is because there is soo much more ratio of shrimp/water that there is more waste which is mostly oils and will contribute to a slightly higher nutrient level if it isnt eaten by bacteria. SO kind of up to your particular tank condtions if you need to strain or not

if you have corals in the tank and you are not fighting high nutrient issues, then I would leave the liquid and add it with the food. If you are having nutrient issues, then feel free to discard it... frozen food slurry is usually pretty good coral food, so I just add it to my tank at feeding time. that liquid contains lots of oils. I've noticed when you feed PE you will often see an "oil slick" on top of the water until my skimmer takes it off. good stuff.
