Peabody's medicated fish foods?

Does anybody have any experience with these? I have a Orchid dottyback and a blue spot jaw fish with some sort of bacterial thing going on and I was thinking about giving this a try. They are both in my reef and without tearing the whole tank apart uncatchable.

So my 5 pack of food showed up on Saturday.

I decided to start with the oxytetracycline hydrochloride since it's a general antibiotic. I was unable to get a decent picture of my blue spot but I got an okay picture of the dottyback.

As you can see it has a patch of missing scales and you can't tell but it also has some fin damage. I've done a bunch of looking around and as far as I can tell it appears to be something bacterial. I'm now 2 days into treatment with the food out of the recommended 10 days and our dottyback is already showing signs of improvement. The patch of missing scales appears to be smaller. I'll keep monitoring the progress and give more feedback on the food and fish as we go.

So almost a week into treatment and there is still a spot on the dottyback but it is about 80% better than it was. Scales are growing back and the infection is just about gone. The blue spot is the same story. He was a lot worse than the dottyback so I think he has a little further to go, but overall I am satisfied with the results of the medication. I have not noticed any adverse effects to any other life in the tank, corals, anemones, clean up crew, etc...

I have not tried the dewormer foods yet. I have just had the bacterial issues so far. I haven't posted an update in a while but the Orchid Dottyback has completely healed and is happy and healthy. If the dewormer ones are anything like bacterial I'd say it should work great.

Well I received my flakes today from Amazon and all of my fish will eat it, so it’s palatable at least. I can’t say if it will work or not. The current wrasse I have in QT is eating metro soaked frozen food so I’ll probably stick with that. It’d be better if instead of flakes, they were pellets. I think most marine are more comfortable eating food in the water column instead of the surface.

I completely agree with you on the pellets! I also felt it would have been a better way of getting food down to the fish that prefer the lower part of the water column. That was the challenge I had with my blue spot jawfish. He was very hesitant to come all the way up to the surface, so it took longer for him to heal from his bacterial issues. He eventually healed up but then unfortunately made his way into the overflow then down to the sump and jumped out and was found a day later behind my skimmer overflow container. I hope this food works out for you, I am very satisfied with the results I got and the lack of side effects on the rest of the aquarium.
