I am stocking my tank with peaceful fishes only. And I'm wondering about Anthias. Which ones are the most peaceful?

Hello, may I suggest posting you questions here and the members will help you with your answers:)

Does anybody know if the Bartletts and the Resplendent anthias are peaceful or not? And how well do they feed on frozen and pellets?
Bartletts can be fiesty/aggressive. Resplendent are peaceful. Resplendent can be trained to eat pellets.

I have Lyetails in my 40 breeder and 400g. I haven't seen any aggression from them towards each other or other fish including other anthias.

What about the Lyetail?

My lyretail anthias seem to hate each other but they are peaceful towards other fish. They have never actually attacked each other but there is a lot of posturing.

Interesting, I have a school of 7 in my 400g without any issues. They are all around 3".

I have three in a 155g display and one is currently changing to male. That might be causing the aggression. Hopefully the change will eventually set the pecking order and calm things down.

Sounds like lyetails are peaceful so long as it's just one male to several females in a large setup. Same species males will kill each other but will leave other species alone.

So with that said, I think I'll get one male Lyetail and maybe one male Resplendent. My tank is a 240g. Thanks reefers. [emoji886]

A lyretail may be fine as a single specimen, but a resplendent won't thrive w/o conspecifics.

Get a couple flavoguttatus. They are really cool looking and peaceful as can be. Actually are maybe a little too nice and shy if that makes sense
