Peaceful Dottyback other than Orchid?

I have a neon. Tank raised. I never see him bothering any other fish. they have a bad reputation, but mine has been fine!

The Splendid Dottyback is fairly common where I am.

I had a Splendid at one time and it was not overly aggressive. It seemed to get along very well with its tankmates. Be aware that the Splendid does get larger than most Dottybacks (up to 4").

I'm not sure if you could keep a pair or trio, but I would suspect it's risky and not recommended. Most dottybacks are intolerant of their own species.

My Orchid Dottyback is an a$$hole. If it is the peaceful one I would hate to think how the other ones are.

Did you put him in last? Why size tank? I have a neon dotty back and I’m nervous to add anything with him
