One of ORA's top notch corals. It is a fast grower and very colorful. Easy to maintain.

Well I have some that I got which was a wild colony and it's not colored up so wanted to see what's y'all thoughts on it !! I also had high phosphates for a while but I'm getting them in check finally [emoji6][emoji6]

It likes high light and good flow. Put it in one spot and don't move it. I find these guys a great coral if you leave them be as it takes a while to adjust. Now that Ora no longer has this coral i also see alot of imposters out there. Still one of my favorite old school sps.

What's your take on this one ? I never had one before so that's why I was asking

My buddy said it's either a desalwi or plana acro so either one is fine with me haha cause they look similar

I got mine from Jason Fox many years ago. One of my favorites. At the LEAR swap i was selling some large frags and had some vendors comment on how ORA lost it. Needless to say my frags sold fast.

This was the colony when I got it !! But like I said I had high phosphates that I fought with for a while so it changed

I got lucky enough to pick up one of the smaller frags off of you of this at LEAR, one of my favorite pieces so I'm definitely looking forward to growing it out.

True pearlberry does not typically look great under LEDs. Most people with nice colonies are running MH.

I somehow ended up with a tenius that has pretty close to the pearlberry coloration. Gods way of making me feel ok that ill never get the real thing..lol.
