pearlscale butterfly fish

I am looking at what fish to put into my 75 gallon reef tank. I am going to do 4 clown fish (normal, naked, black and white, and maybe a maroon or another naked) a few bengaii cardinals, 3 chalk bass, and i want to do a pearl scale butterfly fish. I don't know much about the pearl scale butterfly fish but i would love to learn more about it. Have you guys ever had one? what do you know about them are they hard to care for or not to bad. Do they need to be added first or last or does it matter? Is it better to wait till later when the tank is more established? feeding requirements? also any other fish recommendations would be awesome!

4 different clowns probably isn't going to end well in my opinion. What corals are you planning to keep in the reef since the butterfly eats coral.

I was mostly just wanting to do some bubble tip anemones for the clowns and then some super simple corals. nothing to crazy. Why not do the 4 different kinds of clowns? I have heard mixed opinions on the matter and im just curious why. Do you think if I did 2 different kinds and had 2 of each or is 4 clowns just to many?

from experience, Pearlscale will pick at/on most corals other than SPS and also suceptible to both , shutting down if feeding and also bacterial infections- Just a word of caution

Clowns are very territorial, especially Maroons. You’ll be safe if you stick with a pair.

I would definitely not recommend more than two clowns, especially not more than one species. They are rather territorial. Pearlscale butterfly fish are not reef safe in my opinion but some people get away with it

The only times I've seen mixes species of clowns work out, have been very large systems with a bunch of fish and lots of coral.

Most of the systems with more then a pair of clowns, has been with the purchase of a group from the same egg batch. Biota is a good source for this.

You would be better off with a harem of the less aggressive damsels, as many will also host in nems.
