Hello. Would anyone have any suggestions of any coral types I could try in a tank that houses a Pearlscale butterflyfish? The tanks has a few zoe polyps scattered around, and the fish hasn't touched those. I've thought about adding a small hammer or torch, but haven't yet. Thanks.

I would not trust a Pearlscale with corals. It may not be looking at your softies yet but as is matures it could really do some damage;)

With those I should be able to add some color and movement to the rockwork to make the tank look really good, and if he does decide to do damage, those corals should be hardy enough to take it and recover. Thanks.

Have kept several in a mixed reef tank without any noticeable chomping on corals. Obviously it is a risky but they are beautiful fish.

They are beautiful fish. That's why I got him. I was originally planning FOWLR, but the tank looks......bare. Needs something. Euphyllias, leathers, and mushrooms will work.
