Good afternoon everyone
Long story short I've had a pectinia for a while that never seemed to take off but never died off either, just stagnant. During a mini crash I went through it receded down to the mouths and a bit of flesh surrounding them each.
Now that most of the tank is back and happy some of those mouths left the skeleton and took residence in the unreachable crevices of my tank. The rest seem ready to do the same. All of them maintain good color and show sweepers throughout the day.
Not sure if I should expect them to die or grow new colonies. Anyone ever experience this with Pectinia?
