Pellet food.

Never used NLS but I have the Hikari S. I find it's pretty small and sinks fast. My firefish isn't the most aggressive eater and it falls right past him sometimes and he rarely checks the sandbed. Lol

I always use HBH/Pisces Pros cichlid attack. My fish love it!

Their Flake Frenzy is pretty good to for a flake product.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, this stuff right here!! It works very well, fish and corals love it and it’s not a huge phospate bomb
If you could feed only one type of pellet, what would be the single best one in your opinion? Only one.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, this stuff right here!! It works very well, fish and corals love it and it’s not a huge phospate bomb. For some reason I can’t upload a picture so here you go https://reefnutrition.com/product_tdo_chroma_boost.php

What are you feeding? For clowns (and several other fishes) I would suggest TDO Chroma Boost from @Reef Nutrition. I like the different sizes for varying life stages.

I'm not a big pellet fan but I do actually like Vitalis pellets

The moisture content is much higher, they smell fresher and I haven't had any issues with fish not eating them. I prefer to feed frozen, but since I live out in the middle of no where I have to ration my frozen food since I can't just pick it up on the weekend.

Sorry there's no one type of food in the ocean so Omega one marine and veggie pellet mixed with new life spectrum three different varieties all mixed together and soaked in vitachem

That TDO stuff looks interesting. I've been using Hikari for 30 years. Hikari Marine S forever, but switched to Saki Hikari Marine when it came out. The fish like it just as much and I find it doesn't sink quite as fast. Also I like the fact that it has been extensively tested and if it's good enough for $300,000 koi, it's good enough for my fish.

Man, it seems NLS has the bulk of the votes. I wondered about feeding my own homemade seafood mix but Jake Adams from Reef builders always advocates for quality pellets. I wonder why? Anyone seen inappropriate reefer's Tips from several top youtubers? Thats where Jake says it again.
