Pellets too big?

I bought TDO medium size one but still too big for my fish. It says for 2” and up fish.

what you guys do when pellets too big and you bought too many of them already? Do you crush it to make it smaller?

Just kidding. I wouldn't crush them. You'll just end up with extra nutrients in the tank

I have them. But I also want them to eat TDO. It is just the size.

I crushed them up, though that turned them into a fine powder rather than the small pieces I was hoping for. It definitely raised the nutrient levels and caused a diatoms spike, but the corals (and fish, of course) seemed to like it.

I am mixing and soaking it with frozen food. Maybe it will soften them and thus easy to eat.

You could probably also use a cup of water and then when they get all squishy use a turkey baster to break them up and feed the fish.

Place some between a paper towel and lightly tap with hammer to reduce size and use same towel sheet to pour whatever portion you desire

I used a ziploc bag but paper towel definitely sounds more convenient.
