I've got my Aurora LED puck and diy Typhon Controller wired and ready to go, the only thing left to do is mount them to my heatsink and hang the light. Hanging my light is going to be a wee bit of a challenge due the the weight and volume of my light, and I was thinking about remedies.
I am curious to see if anyone has ever used a peltier cooling plate on the lights?

Keep in mind the back side of the plate gets very hot and actually needs to be cooled , or the front won't get cool.

A water cooled sink would work better. It's the same kind you'd use in the plate, but without the middle man.

Peltier plates are not very efficient either. A quick search turned up 5% as a typical number. OK if you have an easy place to dump that heat and the extra power needs is not significant, but they typically only make sense for very tight areas where you need it to be colder than room temperature.

A water cooled heat sink for LEDs is a neat idea though, but that's yet another pump to go bad.
