Pen Shell

I think my Pen shell has died. It’s fully opened today. I’m guessing I should taje out do it doesn’t pollute my tank or let the CuC go to work? It’s in one of my small nano tanks. Looks like a huge oyster on the inside. That’s a peppermint shrimp eating a bristle worm in last pic. Should I take out?

I would remove him only if he doesn’t close when you grab him to remove him if he closes when he leaves the water the. he’s alive. I say it’s a he lol, but just check and see but yes if it’s for sure dead remove him immediately!

I just did a huge water change last night and let CUC eat away. Definitely doesn’t close when poked at. Appreciate response
