Hello, i have a pencil urchin that needs to be rehome, its with me for almost 2 years now, they are really cool animals and very hardy, ( he's my first invert i put him in un cycled tank and still alive ) they are always on a balanced diet, like even if theres still algae to eat, if they feel like they need protein they will scavenge un eater food, or if they need calcium they will eat live hermit crabs, not saying its reef safe really but i can assure you they dont eat corals or atleast in my experience, anyway i need for it to be rehome because i only keep him in 2 gal tank and do note its his tank no one elses is with him except 1 or 2 zoanthids, anyway after 1 and a half years i finally decided to upgrade and want a full blown reef tank.

You may want to share your city/state/(country) or your general location if you are hoping for local pickup. Good luck with the re-homing and with your new reef tank! :)

I want to hear more about a pencil urchin eating a live hermit crab!

Please guys adopy my pencil sea urchin, if you do, you will receive a nice big brittle starfish with gold and black tentacles, very nice to watch specially if you feed it, a curlique anemone, on a strong current with good lighting, they develop a nice curly transparent tentacles their tentacles color blend with the light you have (not reef safe and will or can eat fish like other sea anemones, their sting is as powerful as aiptaisia as they are in the same family however they are not aiptaisia their scientific name is bartholomeo annulata) please just pay shipping.
