Peninsula against wall

What made you move it from the room divider to against the wall? That is massive and amazing tank.
It was eating and dividing my room.

I appreciate it and it’s the reason why I made the post. I may have missed something while thinking about it and it can be brought to my attention. Thanks!

Those are good points. If I do go with a peninsula I wouldn’t like to have pump on the narrow side and would prefer to only have one or two next to the overflow. From my initial research it’s possible up to 48” after that it gets more complicated. Since the left side would get a ton vs the right side.

Light mount is also a challenge. I currently have Hydra and don’t like the bar style mount, the Ecotech one looks a bit better but not great. I been looking at the Illumagic blaze bar and their clear arm as I would prefer not to hang lights from the ceiling.
You can actually use a gyre - which would work on the other side - aimed at the surface - it would provide flow throughout the tank (and be set in multiple patterns) - I do not think flow is a big problem

BTW - I thought of another idea - If you do want to do a tank - with the filter on the side (i.e. a peninsula) - you could reduce the asymmetry by having the back glass 'black' or whatever color you want.

Did you actually have it set up - and running - and then moved it?? Just curious.
