I was just wondering for you guys that have peninsulas how are you guys running your power head wiring and what not to look nice ? I’m getting a tank built that will ether be 3’x3’x20” tall or 4’x4’x20” tall and looking for ideas

I guess the only options are going down and hiding them in the sump or going up and hiding them in the canopy.

I don't have a peninsula now but I have done them as professional installs before Wiring should be relatively normal with most cords passing over the back of the tank. Now the back is just smaller.

If you want a tank that is a complete walk around with no cords or if you want the back flush against a wall consider passing your wires through the wall or have an extra 1.5in hole drilled in the overflow box with a dry pipe installed.

For complete walk arounds the dry 1.5in pipe is great and will let you hide all of the cords. Through the wall is also nice. I just did this for my 750XXL floating canopy. I will try to attach pictures once I get home.
