Pentair UV - Can I Feed through the OUTLET?

I am setting up a Pentair UV and the way I need to position it to change the bulb with ease, I would like to feed the OUTLET side (side where bulb goes in) and then exit through the INLET side back to the tank. If I do it the way they suggest, it will be a hassle to change the bulb every time and I will have to remove it which will result in spilling water.

Not sure what unit you have but most units are a clear tube inside with the light. I have never seen one with a back flow check valve
