I also under stand my tank is way smaller but I just want to add one more tang and stuff? So is there a special way to go about that or something orr?

You can do just about anything if you plan accordingly. System has to be designed. Just google o2manyfish. Don't get caught up in social media but rather understanding how it all works, patience, and planning and you can have that.

Yes that why I came here to find out how I could do that. I swear every time I add a new fish they are trying to kill each other.

I definitely overstock, but I struggle with keeping nitrates up, even feeding 4 times daily. Finally getting them up after adding a bunch of new fish and shutting off the skimmer. I have a 75 gallon mixed reef, with a ton of frags including a lot of Acropora, and there are even a few anemones and sponges. As the fish grow I will probably move some into different tanks, but for now it is full of activity, looks good, and everything gets along for the most part.

Fish include:
1 Royal Gramma
1 Sunburst Anthias
2 Banggai Cardinalfish
2 Clarkii Clownfish
2 Smithi Damselfish
1 Yellow Tailed Damsel
5 Green Chromis
3 Orange Line Chromis
2 Black Line Fang Blenny
1 Firefish
2 Skunk Tilefish
1 Yellow Spot Tilefish
1 Green Clown Goby
2 Aurora Goby
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
3 Red Headed Goby
1 Cebu Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
1 Pintail Fairy Wrasse
1 Hooded Flame Fairy Wrasse
1 Golden Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse
1 Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse
1 Lineatus Fairy Wrasse
1 Radiant Wrasse
1 Timor Wrasse

Pic was taken yesterday before the new wrasses went into the tank. One of the breeder boxes hooked on the front has 5 maxi mini anemones in it, the other has 2 wyoming white clowns and an acid splash bubbletip anemone in it, just waiting for one of my fluval evos to finish being used as a quarantine, so I can move them into it. They will share the tank with a helfrichi firefish pair

If you stock heavily, make sure you feed VERY well, it really helps cut down on aggression. Most of these are also really peaceful fish that stay small, especially compared to fish like tangs and angels. Theres also probably 125 lbs of rock in this 75, and plenty of spots for burrowing fish to dig. 2 of the tilefish, the aurora goby pair, the yellow watchman goby, and the candy cane pistol shrimp all share the same burrow, and even the firefish sleeps in there at night.

So, If I added a third tang would I be fine? When I grow up and go to collage all the fish are going anyway so they may not even get full size.

What size tank? I won't keep Zebrasoma or Ctenochaetus tangs in a tank under 6', unless it's a quarantine and only short term (less than 60 days) and still try to use a 4' tank for a tang, angel, butterfly quarantine setup. 75 gallon makes a perfect quarantine for fish like those. I won't keep Acanthurus or Naso in a tank under 8'.

They have WAY less aggression issues when kept in tanks the sizes I listed above. I've kept a lot of fish over the years and always stocked heavy. I had a school of Zebrasoma (3 yellow, 1 purple, 2 sailfin, 1 scopas) try to kill each other in a 5'x2'x30" 187 gallon, but get along without issues in a 6'x2'x2' 180 gallon.

oh... I got a tomini *Ctenochaetus* and a chocolate tang *Acanthurus* but... the tomini is barely and 1 and the chocolate is 3 inchs and hasn't started to change into an adult. The other one I wanted was a cole eye?

Tank size 75g
