Personally, I prefer this fish to the hog. The cigar gets larger, but is more peaceful.

Peppermint hogfish, on the other hand are a bit aggressive towards other wrasses.

In fact, as the female matures she will be more of an issue towards the male than the cigar wrasse. Hologymnosus wrasses don't grow too fast.

I have a Swiss Guard Basslet and the male flame had to go into time out for a few days when I got the Basslet. They're pals now. However, the Swiss is very cryptic.

I wouldn't be too concerned.
