Curious to know if anyone has kept peppermint shrimp with a BTA before.
I know they eat aiptasia which is why I want to put them in the 55 gallon tank I am keeping for a freind while their house is being build.
The tank is getting overrun with aiptasia.
They have a GBTA and I don't know if they will eat it as well. I could possibly move the GBTA to a small tank for a while until the pepps do their job.

The aiptasia wasn't my fault the tank was like this when i started caring for it but I would like to take care of it so it will look great for em in their new home once its completed.

Thoughts

I've seen them together at an LFS before and seemed fine. But that being said I have watched peppermint shrimp pluck the heads off of torch, hammer, and frogspawn corals (yeah I just never took either the coral or the shrimp out after watching them do the 1st head), so I would advise if you do add them be careful and keep a good eye on them. Also, if you think it will be hard to remove either if a problem arises (like mine) consider if its worth it.

FWIW, I have a copperbanded butterfly in my 180 that has never touched my anenomes, could just be lucky tho.

They will not harm any other anemones. I have eight anemones of different species in the same system, and none of my three peppermint shrimp touch them, other than when they're feeling douchey and decide to steal the silversides I feed them. I had one pull a piece from inside the nem. That's when I decided they have to go.

Cool thanks guys. Now I need to try and catch the little buggers out of the 75 gallon tank and get em acclimating.

Easiest way to catch them is some sort of frozen food (mysis works best, IMHO) in a coke bottle trap. They go to it faster than I can put it in the tank.
