I have a peppermint shrimp in each tank to make sure I don't get a big aptasia outbreak. I've had a few crop up and they vanish quickly. Go peppermint shrimp!
BUT today I bought a beautiful rose anemone and my peppermint shrimp is all over it. I'm not sure if it's curious or what. I fed the tank thinking if she was full she might leave the anemone alone. No such luck. Right now I have an aquarium net over the anemone.
I did not expect this. I have seen no signs of the peppermint shrimp going after coral (I know some people have had that as a problem. Is there anything I can do to convince the peppermint to leave the anemone alone. If not - how the hell do I catch a peppermint shrimp?
