Peppermint Shrimp eating euphyllia!!!

So I just moved my hammer and framer in my DT two days ago after a month long QT with no issues. The transfer went well. Opened back up within an hour. Last night which lights off it even had polyp extension like normal. This morning I wake up to this! It looks to have definitely been eaten. I’m concerned it’s my peppermint shrimp. I put an octospawn in about a month ago saw him digging in it and shooed him off. It ended up dying. Now this!!! This video is of it opening up not at full extension but you can see it was healthy. I’ve iodine dipped and put back in QT. My LFS said he wouldn’t eat coral after I saw him pick at my octospawn a month ago. Said he was already dying... Picked it to death and now this.

Not of those specifically but I saw him eat my octospawn. And for him to be perfect that night at 3 and next morning at 9 they were ripped apart guts pulled out. And my shrimp are the only night owls.

Yup not a surprise. I have had a peppermint shrimp take out 3 total torch frags with a couple heads each and almost cleared my entire poletti jawbreaker collection down to just the momma. I’ll keep a Japanese dragon moray before I keep a peppermint ever again.

Got some pistol shrimp for aptasia. They started on an orange hammer, took out the hammer for a while
