It’s so hard to know. He looks just like my wundermanni but mine have been model citizens in all my tanks. Only time I’ve seen them pick at anything was a drag that was on its last legs after being super stressed from shipping and as it started to decay they definitely went after it.

True peps, definitely seen them go rogue, acans, welso /trachys mouth, snails ,to the point of adding an eel just to rid the peps...

The boggessi has a clear Y while the wurde has two line going across from side 2 side.

Mine is way more like a Y plus the red line have a white contour the wurde.. has more white ?

Tail seems darker...

Should I just swap it for a cleaner shrimp ?

I have a fire shrimp that feeds off the feeding tongs and doesn’t go after anything. Highly recommend him if you just want a shrimp.

It’s your call. I have never had an issue, but others post differently. You can always just keep an eye on it. If the coral was dying, the shrimp was just doing its job.

That’s been my experience but I know others have different experiences.
Thanks.

I'm just scared because when I fed the tank the other day it swam towards 2 fish trying to steal the food but its getting plenty of food.

The next day I added a zoa frag and instantly it went on it trying to open a polyp for some reason, I had to push him away from the frags. The frags was just dipped and not even out of my tongs lol.

I've found all shrimp to be problematic with lps and some softies. I have cleaners and peppermints and often they'll just start ripping food of the corals insides. At one point I had to cover my acanthophyllia when I fed it. I have not had them eat a healthy oral but they'll definatly annoy the heck out of them. They were sold as wurde but to be honest I never really tried to get a positive ID. As long as they're keeping the aiptasia confined to the overflow I'm good with them. This is one of mine
