My peppermint shrimps spawn about every two weeks resulting in a regular feeding frenzy when the larvae are released. Just wondering what kind of nutrition there is for my fish in this twice a month snack?

It depends on what you are feeding your tank mates/shrimp. But i would assume that if the peppermint shrimp get some frozen mysis/squid/whatever or pellet food there must be some pretty good nutrition in the baby shrimp snacks.

The more lipids you feed the shrimp, then supposedly the more lipids get transferred into the eggs, which transfers to the larvae upon hatching. Supposedly.

There is nutrition in the shrimp larvae. But I'd treat them like any zooplankton larvae. That is to say, they're probably somewhere between a mysid shrimp/copepod and a brine shrimp in terms of nutrition. Otherwise we'd have marketed shrimp larvae if they were a super stellar fish food.

Thanks for the reply. It was just something I got wondering about during the last hatch...is this just some fun food for them to chase around or is it better than that? I do target feed my peppermints Rods and Mysis a couple times a week so they are well fed little guys. One thing is for sure, about two mornings a month I don't need to feed anyone lol.
