Peppermint shrimp

I have 2 peppermint shrimps, I was watching one of them today… and one was doubled over taking white eggs out off its belly and eating them… has anyone seen this before?

Life doesn't find a way sometimes.

I know some species if they have unfertilized eggs will eat them, but I haven’t heard of peppermint shrimp doing it before.
