Just did this a week ago for same issue. Same shrimp messing with my hammer. He is now in sump waiting for a new homeYou can try a bottle trap, otherwise try placing a piece of food into a net and place it next to the shrimp.. patience is key.
Here is the bottle trap.. just throw in a piece of food and poke some small holes around the bottle to allow some water flow. This design still allows the shrimp to escape but it's much easier to get into the bottle than it is to get out

I have the two little fishes magnetic algae clip. I cliped with that so I can lower to the sand bed with that. It kept it in placed. Only issue I have is, you catch more then you want to some nights.Did you clip it to the side of tank or put on sand bed?
My peppermint shrimp killed all my aiptasia a while ago but feel like he has been picking at some coral. Any way to get him out of the tank?
