Will my peppermint shrimp eat my new Sherman rose bubble tip they never hurt my coral or anything but I am scared of it and can’t seem to find them anywhere they hide really good

I wouldn't think the peppermints would bother the nem. I could be wrong, but it seems like it's more likely that the bubble tip might get a shrimp dinner somewhere down the road. ;)

Okays woof I did have a long tangible anemone but I was dying I am pretty more than sure that why they were bothering it rigth ? Bta Sherman is very healthy and was tank grown for me by my lfs under a tank of theirs

From my personal experience, peppermint and cleaner shrimps will go to a nems mouth and dig to try and get food.

It happened in my prior tank with an rbta and in my current tank to my H Magnifica.

It actually damaged the mouth of the Magnifica. It’s healing now with shrimp in the sump.

I have an overhead pic of the cleaner shrimp digging in the Magnifica in my build thread.

While I had a problem, there are lots of folks with nems and shrimp that don’t have a problem.

I even spot fed my shrimp and they would still make their rounds thru all my nems and some corals after feeding. It’s what they do as scavengers.

I am super worried as I cant find this shrimps :( I know they are there I will take out all the rock and see if I can find them is an expensive anemone :(

I recommend waiting till lights out and tank is dark. Then they come out. Then I just met them.

I put he anemone in the tank and one of those suckers went straight for it had to destroy my rock work to get him out ...
I will have to wait till dark to get the other one out I don’t trust them no more they are going to the sump

Peppermints come out at night mostly. They are pretty much hidden during the day. If you want to catch one then just wait till lights are out + 30 minutes or an hour. Then grab a light and you will find them. Net them at that point.

To catch a p shrimp in the evening, place some food (big piece) on the foam cover of your power head. That will hold the food in 1 place and the shimp will smell it, and come for dinner.
