Peppermint shrimps are awesome. Not only do they look nice when active. It ate all my aiptasia within the first week, starting with the biggest anemone there was. He must have been hungry. Highly recommend p.shrimps.

Here's mine

Thanks for the reminder. I noticed that I have had a couple of these pests show up in my rockwork again. I'm gonna get me a pep-shrimp asap.

have a cleaner shrimp, 5-10 hermits, 3 trochus, 3 astrae, 2 nassarius,

2 clowns, dottyback, damsel, and sand sifting goby *orange diamondhead*

NOTE: I think the pep shrimp has disappeared, or has went into hiding. haven't seen him lately.

any coral?

They are very hit and miss. You got lucky. I have two in a 15 gallon nano that went in there to rid my tank of aiptasia. They have never touched them. You also almost never see them, unless you search the (tiny) tank after lights out with a flashlight. I had a nice sized red mushroom that had been in the tank for several years. One morning it was completely gone. Not a trace. Nowhere else in the tank. This also happened with a small frag of zoanthids (maybe 6-8 polyps). Gone overnight. I highly suspect the peppermint shrimp as the culprits.

Oh no, ya that would be terrible of them. I'll have to look for him after lights out.

I added 4 because I like shrimp. Had the added benefit of ridding me of the two aptasia I had IN THE FIRST NIGHT!
