Perfect reef tank hight? (with stand)

Hello guys!
I am planning my reef tank atm and can't decide on the hight of the tank+stand.

What do you guys have in your tanks?

As example:
Red Sea Reefer 350 is 140cm tall
Red Sea Reefer 625 is 148 cm tall
Red Sea Penisula 650 is 160cm tall

These are all rimless tanks. These rimless tanks are lower, for a more modern aesthetic and so you can more easily look down over the rim. If you’re planning for a rimless tank, most go lower (like the measurements you list). If you’re going for a eurobrace, cross braced tank, go higher so you’re not looking down at the bracing. Or especially if you’re planning for a full canopy, would go even higher so the tank is at eye level.

I would assume you mean to the top of the tank. Going with that, my last setup to the top was 66" to the top. I liked that height because where it was located, I tended to stand to watch it. I didn't have to bend over to look into the front of the tank this way, but I had to stand on a chair to clean it though. When I get it going again, hopefully soon, the stand is going to be lower. Somewhere around 58", that should make it nice to set and look into the tank.

It’s all going to depend on where you plan to place the tank and where you plan to be when you view it.

I put way too much thought into the height and location of my tank and stand. As a result, I feel like I got it perfect.

I calculated where my eyes would be when I was casually seated in the loveseat next to the tank. That height was going to be the center of my tank. From there, it was pretty straightforward to figure out the stand height.

The top of my tank is 49” from the ground. The tank is 28” tall and the stand is 21” tall.

Also, if you plan to stuff your plumbing in the stand, consider how much equipment you're trying to stuff down there.
