Just pulled my third cantalope size rock covered in metalic green shrooms and set it outside in a bucket. These shrooms kill any corals they touch. My tank is 11 years old and these shrooms have been in there for about 9 years. Like corals, if you have 2 polyps and they double you get 4 polyps. Unfortunately when you have 300 mushrooms and they all multiply things get out of control. On the 3 rocks I pulled in the last week I estimate that I removed 400 - 500 mushrooms. The temp outside has been below 0 for the last 2 weeks here in wisconsin so setting them in a bucket and taking them outside should do the trick. Then a brushing and rinse and the rock will be ready to go back in. Attached is a pick of some of the remaining shrooms. Still probably 100 in the tank. Sweet revenge for them messing with my corals.

Take them to the LFS and get store credit.for them....:)

OuR lfs store at the ace hardware in wausau does not support its customers by taking in trades. I need to make a run to a store in madison or milwaukee if I want to trade in corals.
