I have a @Bulk Reef Supply 50ml pump for kale dosing thats sucking from my RO brute in the basement. it's pushing through a Kalkstar kalk reactor into my sump. I'm not getting anywhere near 50ml per min. more like 10. it almost looks like the suction head is actually sucking the tube closed in the pump, restricting the amount of fluid that It can move.
I'm wondering if I would have better results moving the pump to the basement, so it's only "sucking" 3 feet or so and pushing the rest of the way.

How would your Karl stirrer work in that situation. I have purchased a Kalkwasser stirrer and was wondering about that configuration?

I think it would work much more effectively pushing upwards. The tubing won’t collapse then.

I run dosers in my basement to push two-part and vinegar up to the first floor, and it works fine. I'm using the BRS "Drew's Doser" model, which has four rollers so there's less chance of any backflow like there might be with a two-roller doser.

That’s a good point about the back flow. I might add a couple of check valves. Only ro will be pushed through it, so they should stay pretty clean.
