Anyone using permeate pumps for rodi? Are they good? How long they last?

The permeate pump is used if you are using the RO with a pressure tank. It does not work for low pressure. It uses the pressure from the waste water to increase the pressure of the product water to overcome the resistance of filling a pressurized holding tank. A booster pump is best if all your making is RO/DI.

A permeate pump depends on the pressure in a drinking water style bladder tank to function. They will not work without it so do not fit most of our reef uses since it is not good to store DI water in a pressure tank.
