So with our return this year I've been given the ALL CLEAR for a bigger tank. We've been talking and we are getting rid of our TV and accessories. Kids want to watch it too much. The tank can now be the TV. We don't watch all that much anyways. So, goodbye TV. I'm also now in a position I can devote more time to a bigger tank.
Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. :tongue: I already have a stand. I'm looking at a 40 breeder since it is the same ddimensions as my stand. I liked the lower profile versus the taller 65g which I had prior. I hated it because it was deep. I had to use a step stool. I would have to add a little more rock and sand. Protein Skimmer (maybe) and a sump. I will be getting LEDs. I'm thinking of modding the tank to remove the brace and add an acrylic brace unless there is something similar in profile without braces in the middle. I have a budget of around $1100 I think I can work with fairly easy.
Thoughts and recommendations?
