Hydrogen Peroxide is often used to treat for cyano and dino, and some recent threads suggest it may also be effective for disease control. I am currently dosing about 1.5 ml/10 gallons for cyano. Sometmes I just dump it in the return pump chamber in my sump, and sometimes I use a syringe to target specific patches of cyano. I also have a small majano population that I occasionally hit with Aiptasia-X, but they never seem to fully go away. Well tonight I was about to target dose some peroxide, but instead of blasting the cyano, I aimed it at a majano. Wow, did that thing bubble and fizz and disintegrate in a hurry! Has anyone else tried this? Is there a reason I shouldn't do this? Obviously you wouldn't want to do this if your pests are close to your prize corals, but in my case this guy was all by himself.
