Does anyone have the link to the peroxide thread for killing hair algae? I've neglected my tank for a while and now have a successful hair algae farm. Im ready to risk it all and try it.

What type of algae did you have? Did you dose your DT or take rocks out and poor it on them?Tried it unsuccessfully. The old school way is still the best way IMO. nutrient/light control/supply water zero PO4
Did you have nitrate and phosphate spikes ?, and if so what did you use for export during treatment period as I believe treatment is for 14 days without water change . Sorry for the late questionFluconazole , reefflux is a safer bet. Grab some more snails too. When the algae starts to fail, appearantly it becomes quite tasty.
I used peroxide for this and while it works well, it messes with overall chemistry, mostly because of the amount I had to use. Have you looked into dinoX? I had great luck with that.Does anyone have the link to the peroxide thread for killing hair algae? I've neglected my tank for a while and now have a successful hair algae farm.
