Our niece’s youngest boys spent the night and we’re heading to a hunt right now. I hope your hunt went well.

One egg per family. They had discounts in them.
It was between 20% off saltwater livestock or bogo freshwater fish. We chose the saltwater. But that was a tough call as we want something else for the angel tank. They had kribs and rams that almost beet the saltwater purchase.

I do too. I would have to turn the temp up on the tank to keep them, but it was a solid contender.
I almost set up a turkana cichlid tank. still might if another tank is in the future.
most of the shows I went to were at a coffee shop. none during the day though.

I went ahead and dosed enough LaCl to drop phosphates by 0.08 ppm tonight. I found more cyano than usual floating in the sump tonight. Green cyano is growing rapidly again especially on the rock the anemone’s on and in some dead spots on the sand. I haven’t decreased feedings any. With the amount of cyano I’ve been pulling out there isn’t as much intake of nutrients as there was. Thus the excess cyano.
I’ve got quite a few micro brittle stars. I saw nine of them tonight. I’m starting to see even more red micro feather dusters and spirorbid worms. Even with the wrasse my pods are doing great.
I hope to test for ALK and Phosphorus Monday. I want to make sure my ALK isn’t declining too rapidly with the LaCl dosing.
All the animals are doing great. I hope to add a new LPS coral or two in a few weeks. I need to add color to my reef.

There's a reason they were buried in the abyss of my mind. I don't like anything about them. Ever forget long term the things you do enjoy? Maybe for moments. But not for nearly a generations time span. Just saying.
