Got this new clove polyp coral and I noticed this on it shortly after I placed it in the tank. I did a Bayer dip beforehand. Any ideas?

A little hard to tell with the blue lighting (they never come out showing what we see in person do they?). But, if it is right in the middle, then it may be aptasia.

That’s what I was thinking. Should I just manually remove it?

I have done that with a single one on a frag numerous times with no issues. When I have done that, I scrape where he is and make sure I get the base. They will shrink really small and when I had one that would go under in a place where I can not scrap it off, I used some super glue to tomb it in the small crack.

Its a hydroid. Remove at base or simply starve it (it loves brine shrimp) by directing flow towards not at it, and it will be unable to capture food and starve

Looks like a feather duster
