I saw this to on liveaquaria.com and thought I would post it here. It seems helpful, it may prevent unwanted things from entering from entering your aquarium. I will try it when the time comes.

Yes it works and you can also use coral rx as that's safe for corals where doing a dip with lower salinity may not be

Not sure about aipstasia but it might be worth a shot. The tip does say inverts.
