"pest" corals only tank?

Anyone want to set up a tank with just blue cloves, pulsing xenia, green star polyps, etc. . . and just let them all duke it out!

yes a pest, but not a coral, think it would have an unfair advantage!

Did that with my old sunlit tank. The winners were actually a huge toadstool, a fuzzy finger leather, and pulsing xenia, but honestly they would compete well. Had had gsp entrusting the base of palythoa Grandis making them grow straight out in tube. Pink waving gorgonian tried to drown out the light to the gsp field. Was a very pretty tank. Eventually got too nasty though

Yeah I've thought the same sort of thing would be fun. Just don't care what gets in the tank (minus fish disease).

By that point I had grown quite fond of the toadstool and moved it to my main tank. It's still there today
