Pest? Having trouble indentifying

Newer to the hobby... have had my nano tank up for about 6 months. Have noticed a few of these guys popping up in the last month or so. Nothing new added to the tank in 3 months. About 2-3 inches long when fully extended. Single white tentacle with a bristled appearance. They seem to be attached and just drift with the current. Nocturnal.
Any help???

Digitate hydroids...can bother coral...cover with glue or epoxy
