what the heck is this? I don't remember this on my conch booty.
I got him 2months ago and scrubbed him well with a toothbrush looks like I missed a spot.

I can't view the video. Do you have any pics from other angles? Have you tried removing it with tweezers? Does the mystery bump move or stay stationary? Is it hard or soft?
Possible answers: limpet, vermetid snail, sponge, ??

I haven't touched it yet and the conch is in the back of the aquarium so can't catch him right now

Looks like it was the hoof snail. The snout looks exactly the same as in the photo. Wish I knew it sooner so I didn't have to crush it for the safety of the tank.

I've just found one on my conch, I knew the shell was there for ages but only just seen the trunk come out today!. Are these guys harmless?
