Pest ID please!

These little guys hang out in dark places, mainly sump glass. They look like Barnacle’s with a soft exterior, and some polyp like extension out the top.

I don’t think they have been in the tank for long.

They don’t seem to be bothering any coral, but I am curious as to what they are?

Looks like pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeder, sign of good water quality

You’re welcome! I wouldn’t remove them unless they are in an unsightly spot, as they help to clean the water.

I had a green Birds nest and a purple stylo get munched on last night. No way it’s RTN. They were happy campers yesterday.

I Think it’s the peppermint shrimp.
