Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to reefing so forgive me if these are common.

My frogspawn has been dying for awhile now and today I noticed this tube which doesn’t look like any vermetid snail or feather duster tubes.

I’ve cut it off and it seems it’s been eating into the frogspawn on the dying side, just wondering if anyone knows what it is! (

The last photo is the pest from the tube)

Thanks :))!

Looks like a vermetid… harmless, but yes, will bug your coral to the point of death if not removed
