Pest on turbo snail? Maybe?

I just purchased some turbo snails from my local fish store and as I was getting ready to put them in my tank I noticed that there was something very hard small and black attached to the snail. What should I do?

Yeah I couldn't really get close enough. They are small and very hard. I tried to pull it off and I couldn't

Vermetid Snails. Google it and see what you think. I want them out of my tank.
Scrape it off with a rasor. Rub some peroxide on the spot where it was. Don't get any peroxide in the snail. Look for more in your tank. They send out mucus strings to catch food, or breed. They will show up all over. The strings bother many of my corals and make them die back.
