I was at a X-Mas party last night for church and ran into an friend of mine that was a biology student at oakland university. I told about my recent isopod situation and how it was kind if difficult to find info on google to id him. Here is the tip that he told me that I found useful. I tried it this afternoon and found some good info so I thought that I would share.

In google type in some like.

dichotomous key for marine isopods or
dichotomous key for marine aquarium pests
dichotomous key for ????

The most important part is that your include the "dichotomous key" and are reasonably specific about what you ask for.

What a dichotomous key does is give you series of questions and allows you to narrow down your search as to what the organism might be.

I tried it that afternoon and I found that I was very helpful.

I just thought that I would share.

Cool thanks for sharing.
